Is your hand painted torn paper sold by the roll? If so, what is the length and width of your rolls?
- Stoney Brook Torn Paper is sold by the sq ft & comes in manageable size pieces. You tear off the edges to get a "finished edge". Just order the exact sq ft you need.
Is your paper durable? Do I need to seal it after application to my walls?
- Yes! It is a painted surface so you can wipe it with a damp sponge. No need to apply a sealer.
Do I have to use paste? Or is your product "Pre-Pasted"?
- Yes, you must apply a premixed heavy duty clear wallpaper adhesive which you will thin with water so its about the consistency of a thick paint. The video above shows you how to apply paste to the back of the material using a paint roller. No, Stoney Brook Torn Paper is not available in a prepasted version.
How do I calculate the sq ft of my walls?
- Measure in inches. Multiply the width by the height, then divide that number by 144. For Example: You're only papering one wall. That wall is 134'' wide by 96" tall.
134 X 96 = 12,864. 12,864 ÷ 144 = 89.333 sq ft. Order 89 sq ft of paper.
*If your walls have doors and windows, remember to subtract that sq ft.
